Celebrating the life of

Paige Elizabeth Morrison (Nessmith)

October 12, 1964 - September 25, 2025

Paige Elizabeth Morrison (Nessmith)

Paige Elizabeth Morrison (Nessmith) was received into her eternal home on the 25th of September, 2025, surrounded by family and friends in Savannah, Georgia, after a valiant fight against Stage IV colon cancer.

She was born on October 12th,1964, in Savannah, Georgia, and grew up in Cary, North Carolina, before returning to Savannah to attend Armstrong Sate University. After a brief hiatus from school to raise and homeschool her three children in Savannah, Paige finished her education at Liberty University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education, Psychology, and English. She was a fierce advocate for her faith and her family, and a force of strength for the many lives she touched and the many organizations she helped create and grow. In her last years, she built DUET Kids, served as President of the Georgia Commercial Fisherman’s Association and state director of the USSC, and worked with countless other organizations to uplift her community and those even as far as California (VOENA).

Paige took on many torches in her lifetime; she was a mother, a leader, a teacher, a friend, a fighter, and a faithful servant. She was known for her unwavering faith, her zealous spirit, and her commitment to motherhood. She loved gardens, reading, learning, coffee, tea, history, and the many good things of life here below. She left us far too soon. Her vibrant life, force of will, and devotion to God are abundant gifts that reverberate unendingly in her children, grandchildren, friends, and all those who are, and will be, indelibly impacted by her life.

She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by her husband of 37 years, Stephen Morrison Jr., and her children, Stephen Morrison III, Grace Morrison, and Faith Morrison, and her grandchildren, Milligan and Isla Morrison. Paige is preceded in death by her parents, Trent and Nellie Jean Nessmith, her brother, Trent Nessmith Jr., and her daughter, Rebekah Morrison.

A visitation will be held at Fox & Weeks on Hodgson Memorial Drive on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist in Savannah, Georgia, on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 10:00 am. Paige will be laid to rest following mass in Bonaventure Cemetery, a place she loved dearly and where her mortal remains will await with hope the Lord’s return.

Remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah, 1352 Eisenhower Dr, Savannah, GA 31406.
